We have learned that a workplace wellness program needs to be frictionless to set up and
inspire employees to want to continue to prioritize it, every single day.
At Bright Breaks, our mission is to inspire and prioritize employee well-being.
A long time ago, employees would take breaks to recharge from their demanding jobs. Fast
forward a couple of centuries and somewhere along the way, the workplace lost its opportunity for regular breaks.
The most dedicated workers became the ones who never slept, or ate full meals, they chose
screen time over quiet time and an office chair over the gym.
When in reality, the most dedicated workers are the ones who take the most breaks.
With Bright Breaks, we have developed a seamless and fun way to help HR leaders
integrate breaks into their companies without disruption with consistent, positive results.
Our Story
In 2020, we launched an online workplace wellness platform with 30 to 60-minute, live fitness and yoga classes. The idea was born out of our own desire to help people connect and feel relief during the Covid pandemic.
As the pandemic eased, so did the needs of our customers. We realized that although our offering was unique in its abundance of weekly live classes, 30-60 minutes was just too long to serve a large number of people consistently.
We knew we were onto something with the accountability and connection that live classes created. However, we simply didn’t know how to package it in a way that could be truly useful, for many people, every day of the week.
Then we discovered a trend: our own team preferred shorter classes, and it turned out that was true for the majority of our members. People weren’t taking classes; they were taking workday breaks.
With that revelation in mind, we changed our whole offering to serve breaks to people across the globe, every work day. We’re proud to be carving a new path to wellness for people who work remotely, in the office, or both.
